Full-time resident porter
The following services are provided for all residents of Lauderdale Mansions South:
- The building is redecorated every 4-6 years as part of a continual rolling programme of maintenance and refurbishment. The work covers both the outside of the property, as well as internal hallways, staircases, basement areas and pathways.
- The management company employs a part time gardener to maintain and develop both the rear communal garden and the front gardens in Lauderdale Road.
- The hallways and internal staircases leading to the flats are cleaned thoroughly twice a week and the carpets are shampooed every six months.
- The building's full-time resident porter is responsible for ensuring that the property is secure and free of rubbish. He also deals with residents' emergencies.
