'Best-run mansion flat building'
The management of Lauderdale Mansions South is controlled by the flat owners, each of whom have a share of the freehold of the property and elect the Board of directors.
Service charges have remained an average of £3184 per year per flat since 2002 - a real terms decrease of 18% over seven years, taking account of inflation.
According to Board chairman Angus Stuart, the goal of the management company is that Lauderdale Mansions South should be the best-run mansion flat building and communal gardens in Maida Vale.
"By this we mean the company should be the most efficiently run, with the best value-for-money services for leaseholders and shareholders, and that the management should be seen as transparent, accountable, fair and democratically appointed."
