How easy is it to park?
There is plenty of parking in Lauderdale Road and you can nearly always find a space very near - or even right outside - your flat. Lauderdale Mansions residents can obtain a parking permit from Westminster Council. This entitles them to park in any residents parking bay in Maida Vale and St John's Wood (Zone C). During restricted hours (8:30am to 6:30pm, Monday to Friday) visitors can use one of the many Pay & Display parking bays in Lauderdale Road.

Is there anywhere secure where I can leave my bike?
The basement areas contain hooks where residents' bicycles can be stored. There is also a dedicated storage unit for bicycles in one of the blocks.

Is Lauderdale Mansions South in the Congestion Charge Zone?
No, the building is not in the Congestion Charge Zone. The nearest the zone gets is the Harrow Road, about half a mile away. The main A40 route going out of London to the west, and the Edgware Road/Park Lane route going south, cutting through the centre of London, are also excluded from the Congestion Charge Zone.

Is there on-site security?
The management company employs a full-time resident porter. One of his most important jobs is to ensure the security of the property.

What happens if there is a maintenance issue in my apartment?
The internal maintenance of the apartment is the responsibility of the flat owner. Anything connected with the fabric of the building (i.e. outside the apartment front door) is the responsibility of the management company, Lauderdale Mansions South. If you are in any doubt, contact the estate manager.
